PLEASE PRAY FOR KATIE GRACE! SURGERY UPDATE MORNING OF DAY 3 AND ALSO SOME PICS FROM HUA HUA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY BACK IN FEB

So as I said, I have been a little pre-occupied and have been behind on posting pics on my blog, so I figured while I am here in the hospital spending many hours in a chair, why not catch up on some pics I had hoped to post?

First, a morning update on Katie Grace Hua Hua's surgery and recovery. It is 8AM on Day 3 and she had sort of a hard night. They had noticed that her blood oxygen levels were good so they took her oxygen support level down to see how she would do. Well she did not tolerate that well so they ended up having to put her back up to 100% help on oxygen. In addition to this, she is on numerous medications, at least 8, and is still running a fever. They have her sedated and had to give her a paralytic this morning to do a procedure on her breathing tube. Although that paralytic was temporary, it made me feel sad. I feel worried and sad. I can't stand to see her so medicated and supported. I had expected to see her making more progress by now. They said they just have to take it slow. She is strong and I know she can get through this!

Here are some pics of Katie Grace Hua Hua's 4th Birthday party we had about a month ago...

Look at that face! She kept sneaking little bits off the edge when I wasn't looking!

All set for the party now all we need are the guests. Cutest Birthday Girl ever!

Look at this beautiful Hello Kitty cake and these Minnie Mouse cupcakes that our friend Liz and her mom made for Katie Grace!! They were so beautiful and delicious! Thank you!

The "boys" table. Why does that always seem to happen? We didn't plan it that way, but it just seems to fall into place! Bunch of cute little rascals, they are!

Time for crafts! We painted figurines and the kids loved that!

Two sweet little faces having fun!

Two big sisters having fun too! Christina and her bestie, Alexia.

When they started singing Happy Birthday To You, she thought that was the best thing ever!

Time to blow out the candles!

Yummy!

Now, how about a cupcake too, Mom?

Mommy and Hua Hua :)

Presents??? How wonderful!!!!
