So as I said, I have been a little pre-occupied and have been behind on posting pics on my blog, so I figured while I am here in the hospital spending many hours in a chair, why not catch up on some pics I had hoped to post?
First, a morning update on Katie Grace Hua Hua's surgery and recovery. It is 8AM on Day 3 and she had sort of a hard night. They had noticed that her blood oxygen levels were good so they took her oxygen support level down to see how she would do. Well she did not tolerate that well so they ended up having to put her back up to 100% help on oxygen. In addition to this, she is on numerous medications, at least 8, and is still running a fever. They have her sedated and had to give her a paralytic this morning to do a procedure on her breathing tube. Although that paralytic was temporary, it made me feel sad. I feel worried and sad. I can't stand to see her so medicated and supported. I had expected to see her making more progress by now. They said they just have to take it slow. She is strong and I know she can get through this!

My computer has been broken and I am just now seeing that K.G. had surgery. I am praying for ya'll. I know it must be hard, but she is in good hands ! Please come visit us when/if you are in Auburn. It would be so fun. And let me know how the work thing turns out...
